The Company

An award-winning manufacturer of special purpose machinery with over 20 years of experience.

The Role

My client manufacture and service their range of electromechanical special purpose machinery from their headquarters and factory in Hampshire.

They are looking to employ talented engineers who have a diverse range of skills and are now looking for a candidate that has electrical knowledge or someone with the necessary practical skills to be able to reach that ability or have transferable skills which meet the exacting needs.

The machinery is installed and operated throughout the world, across 38 countries and counting - North America and Canada, Dubai, Europe, Singapore, China, etc. as well as the UK and extensively throughout Europe and many other countries. The clients fleet is serviced and maintained by our engineers based in Hampshire and therefore very frequent travel is an absolute requirement.

The role is 50% in house, working on the machinery and look at developing the products, and 50% in the field servicing and installing on customer sites. Depending on the job, the trip could be from 2 days to 2 weeks.

The Candidate

1. Electrical servicing/maintenance/installation experience

2. Mechanical engineering knowledge

3. An engineering qualification is desirable not essential

3. Driving license is essential

4. Ability to travel overseas frequently

5. Hard working attitude

The Package

The salary offered for this position is £25,000 pa plus overtime (expected to take home £35,000-£40,000) to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
