Electronic Design Engineer

The minimum salary offered for this position is £38,000 pa however the client may pay up to £40,000 pa to those candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities

Our client is a well-established electro-mechanical system developer.

Role and responsibilities:

The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for design and development of a broad range of new products

Work as a lead engineer to design and develop electronic solutions, meeting project timescales

Programming in embedded C for micro-controllers

PCB design Electrical harness design

Appreciation of design for EMC

Making of prototype wiring harnesses

Required experience and skills:

Degree or HND in Electronics or similar

At least 3 years electronic development experience

Experience in programming using embedded C

Must be competent in PCB design

Previous experience or knowledge of 3D CAD skills, Up to 1000 VDC, LIN bus, CAN, RS485

Knowledge of working with HVAC systems would be an advantage

Good knowledge of electronic component and connector selection, and sourcing
