Due to expansion they are now seeking an Assistant Technical Engineer with strong CAD experience to join their team. If you are looking to join a dynamic and growing company that offer career development then this opportunity could suit you.The Role: Seeking an Assistant Technical Engineer to join their growing sales team to assist with the day-to-day management and development of their refurbishment and new build commercial office projects. Working predominately within the UK construction industry, the ideal candidate will be an integral member of the sales process working alongside their Senior Technical Engineer, Operations Director and Sales Managers regarding all aspects of the technical design, application, and specification of Air Conditioning systems. Responsibilities:Manage the technical administration of all new and current projects.Act as the main point of contact for both M&E consultants and Architects.Produce detailed system layouts and schematic drawings.Providing technical administrative support to both the sales and service/maintenance departmentsCollate, categorise, and hand over all hard copy technical documentation and equipment selections to relevant internal parties.Source project specific design criteria and produce detailed, technical equipment selections using internal selection software (training will be given).Essential Skills and Experience:Strong working knowledge of AutoCADThe ideal candidate will have an understanding of air conditioning systems and ventilation services. Candidates with experience in Building Services or Construction are also consideredExcellent organisational and management skills with high attention to detailExcellent communications skills, both verbal and written to include a professional telephone mannerAbility to work under pressure, respond to increasing workloads and work to tight deadlinesAptitude to learn and a desire to grow within both the role and the companyExperience of BMS controls is desirable however, training will be givenThe Package: Offering from £32,000 to £35,000 plus a competitive benefits package.
