The minimum salary offered for this position is £22,000 pa however the client may pay up to £25,000 pa to those candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities

The Company
A well-established manufacturing company

The Role
To operate and manage the storage and rotation of inventory. To kit parts for Mechanical and Electrical assemblies. To assist other areas within Stores Department when required and other general stores/warehousing duties.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and Prioritize kitting to ensure kits are picked on time.
- Ensure correct parts are kitted
- Generate shortage tickets when necessary
- Monitor availability of parts required for kits
- Ensure inventory is rotated
- Create storage locations for new items
- Understand inventory related elements of Database system
- Assist goods receiving to put items away in location.
- Collate works orders with drawings when necessary
- Carry out periodic stock checks in addition to participating in the annual stock take
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Assist other areas of Stores Dept as necessary
- Comply with Company Health and Safety procedures
- Comply with Company Systems and procedures

The Candidate
1. Working in a shop floor environment.
2. Good communication and numeric skills.
3. Fluent in English both written and spoken.
4. Fork Lift would be desirable however would train the candidate
5. Driving License advantageous.

The Package
The salary offered for this position is £22,00- £25,000 pa to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
